Whole-Home & Business Installs
Complete structured cabling for new builds, renovations and fit-outs — multiple data points, a tidy comms cabinet and patch panel, every run labelled, terminated and tested. Best planned before the walls are lined.
Fast, reliable wired connections done right — Cat 6 and Cat 6A structured cabling for homes and businesses across the Kāpiti Coast. Whether it's a whole-home fit-out or a single run, every cable is neatly routed, properly terminated and fully tested before we leave.
We cable for CCTV cameras, wireless access points, floodlights, computer and data ports, TVs and more — with certified terminations and extensive cable testing on every job.
Structured cabling on the Kāpiti Coast
A wired connection is still the fastest, most reliable way to move data — no interference, no dropouts and no fighting for signal. Structured Cat 6 and Cat 6A cabling gives your home or business a solid backbone for internet, Wi-Fi access points, cameras and everything else that needs a rock-solid link.
Cat 6 comfortably handles Gigabit speeds for the vast majority of homes and businesses, while Cat 6A supports 10-Gigabit links over longer distances for demanding or future-proofed setups. We help you choose the right one, then plan, run, terminate and test every cable to a professional standard.
We install Cat 6 and Cat 6A cabling everywhere from Paekākāriki and Paraparaumu to Raumati, Waikanae, Te Horo and Ōtaki, and across the wider Kāpiti Coast.
Terminated & tested
The difference between cabling that just works and cabling that keeps working is in the terminations and the testing. We crimp RJ45 plugs to spec, punch down to keystone jacks and patch panels correctly, and treat every run with care so nothing is kinked, over-bent or rushed.
Then we test — properly. Every run gets continuity and wiremap testing and is certified with a cable tester, so we know each cable delivers full performance before we sign it off. You get wiring you can rely on, not a rushed job that fails under load.
How we help
Complete structured cabling for new builds, renovations and fit-outs — multiple data points, a tidy comms cabinet and patch panel, every run labelled, terminated and tested. Best planned before the walls are lined.
Only need one line? We'll happily run a single cable to a new camera, an access point, a floodlight or an extra office port — terminated and tested to the same standard as a full install.
What we cable for
A few of the jobs we run and test cabling for across Kāpiti homes and businesses.
Reliable wired runs to CCTV and security cameras for rock-steady footage, indoors and out.
Cabling and PoE runs to ceiling and wall-mounted access points for fast, stable Wi-Fi.
Cabling to floodlights, gate hardware and other outdoor devices, run and protected properly.
Wired ports at desks, offices and TVs for full-speed, interference-free connections.
Complete structured cabling for a new build or renovation — every room wired and ready.
Neatly punched-down patch panels and tidy comms cabinets that make your network easy to manage.
Wired connections to TVs, media players and consoles so streaming and gaming never buffer.
Cat 6A runs for 10-Gigabit-capable links where you need the highest throughput and future-proofing.
Just need a single line to a camera, an access point or a new port? We do one-off runs too.
Our process
We plan the routes first, run the cable cleanly and protect it properly, then terminate every end to spec — keystones, patch panels and RJ45 plugs done right.
Before we call it finished, every run is tested and certified with a cable tester, then labelled and tidied so your network is easy to live with and easy to work on later.
Pricing
Every cabling job is different — the number of runs, the distances, the terminations, the access and whether it's Cat 6 or Cat 6A all change the work involved. So rather than an hourly rate, we price each job individually and give you a clear, fixed quote up front.
Tell us what you need and we'll quote it. For larger installs we'll take a quick look on site first so the quote is spot on, with no surprises.
Reviews
Real results for Kāpiti Coast homes and businesses.
Got a new router and my ISP said it was plug and play, yeah right! Took us hours and finally gave up so call these guys. Same day service and I needed a VLAN tag, along with a different cable from the router to the Chorus box to get faster speeds. Lesson learnt, should have called right away.
