Kāpiti Ubiquiti UniFi Installation & Configuration

We supply, install and configure complete Ubiquiti UniFi networks for homes and businesses across the Kāpiti Coast — access points, switches, gateways, cabling and UniFi Access, all set up as one integrated system that just works.

Switching from another platform? We migrate Grandstream, Aruba, Juniper and TP-Link Omada networks to UniFi. And if you've already bought your own gear, we'll install and configure that too.

Ubiquiti UniFi on the Kāpiti Coast

Complete Ubiquiti UniFi networks, done properly

Ubiquiti UniFi is a professional-grade networking platform that brings your access points, switches, gateways and access control together into one system you can see and manage from a single place. It's the same enterprise gear used in businesses, sized and configured to suit homes, offices, farms and lifestyle blocks.

We handle the whole job — recommending the right hardware, running the cabling, mounting the gear and configuring the network — so you get fast, reliable, secure Wi-Fi and wired connectivity that's built to last, not a box of parts left half set up.

From Paekākāriki and Paraparaumu to Waikanae, Te Horo and Ōtaki, we design, supply, install and support UniFi networks across the Kāpiti Coast.

Switching platforms

Migrating to Ubiquiti UniFi

Old kit UniFi

Already running another platform? We migrate existing networks to Ubiquiti UniFi cleanly — keeping downtime to a minimum and carrying across your VLANs, SSIDs and settings so everything works the way it did, only better managed.

Grandstream UniFi Aruba UniFi Juniper UniFi TP-Link Omada UniFi

Whether it's a single controller swap or a full cutover across access points, switches and gateways, we plan the migration properly and test it before we leave.

Every migration is planned and quoted first. We assess your existing setup during the consultation so there are no surprises on the day — and no guessing with your network.

How quoting works

Every job starts with a consultation

Rather than guessing over the phone, we assess the job properly on site under our one-hour consultation, then give you a clear, fixed quote for the full installation or migration.

It means an accurate price based on your actual building, cabling and gear. The consultation is charged at our standard rates, and if you go ahead you've already got a plan and a price locked in — no guesswork.

Your consultation covers

  • Full assessment of your site & gear
  • Cabinet/hub location & cabling plan
  • The right UniFi hardware for the job
  • A migration plan, if switching platforms
  • A clear, fixed quote for the work
  • Honest advice, either way

★★★★★
Got a new router and my ISP said it was plug and play, yeah right! Took us hours and finally gave up so call these guys. Same day service and I needed a VLAN tag, along with a different cable from the router to the Chorus box to get faster speeds. Lesson learnt, should have called right away.

Do you supply Ubiquiti UniFi equipment, or just install it?
Both. We can recommend and supply the right UniFi hardware at competitive prices and install and configure it, or install and configure equipment you've bought yourself. Either way you get a professionally set-up, managed network.
Can you migrate my Grandstream, Aruba, Juniper or TP-Link Omada network to UniFi?
Yes. We migrate Grandstream, Aruba, Juniper and TP-Link Omada networks to Ubiquiti UniFi. We plan the migration around your setup, carry across your VLANs and settings, and test everything before we leave to keep downtime to a minimum.
Can you set up a UniFi network for my Waikanae or Paraparaumu business?
Absolutely. We regularly design and install UniFi for Kāpiti businesses — access points, switches, gateways and UniFi Access — with seamless roaming, guest Wi-Fi and proper VLANs, all managed from one place.
Can you install UniFi Access for gates and garage doors?
Yes. We install and configure UniFi Access control for garage doors, gates and entry points, integrated into your wider UniFi network so it's all managed in one place.
Do you run Cat 6 cabling for Kāpiti homes and offices?
Yes. We run Cat 6 cabling internally and externally, plan and mount your hub or comms cabinet, and route everything tidily — the wired backbone that makes a UniFi network fast and reliable.
Can you install UniFi gear I've already bought?
Yes. We're happy to mount, cable and configure customer-supplied UniFi or other equipment to a professional standard, so the gear you've paid for actually performs.
How much does a UniFi installation in Kāpiti cost?
Quoting is done under our one-hour on-site consultation at standard rates — $125 including GST for residential or $145+GST for business, plus a $25 local travel fee. The full installation or migration is then quoted as one fixed price, with hardware quoted on top of labour.
